Alberta Chicken Producers Celebrates Re-entry into the Federal Provincial Agreement for Chicken

Alberta Chicken Producers is thrilled to announce our re-entry into the Federal Provincial Agreement (FPA) for Chicken! On November 2, 2017, Alberta’s Agricultural Products Marketing Council presented ACP with the FPA, signed by Alberta’s Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, the Minister of Intergovernmental Relations Executive Council, and Alberta’s Agricultural Products Marketing Council. With this agreement signed by the Alberta Government and ACP, Chicken Farmers of Canada has announced Alberta’s re-entry into the “CFC Family”.

The Alberta Chicken Producers’ Board would like to thank our producers, processors, hatcheries and hatching egg producers for their support over the past decade in bringing a successful resolution to Alberta’s allocation issue in a manner that both strengthens the national system and sustains differential growth for our industry for decades to come.
