50th ANNIVERSARY

In 2016, we were excited to celebrate 50 years of providing families with safe, nutritious, and ethically raised chicken.

 

Key successes of the Alberta Chicken Producers:

 

  • ACP led the way, making Alberta the first province in Canada to have 100% of its producers certified under the national On Farm Food Safety and Animal Care Programs
  • Significant funder and contributor to the Poultry Research Centre in Alberta creating a market where producers and consumer families benefit
  • Supporting Albertan communities, through educational events and donations
