Serve over roasted, grilled or pan-fried chicken. This makes enough sauce for 6 to 8 people.

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp canola oil
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp all purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 2 tbsp dijon mustard
- salt and cracked black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the butter and oil in a large frying pan over medium high heat.
- Add the mushrooms and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally for about 5 minutes or until the mushrooms are softened.
- Stir in the flour and cook, stirring for 1 minute to cook the flour.
- Add the remaining ingredients and boil gently, uncovered, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes or until thickened.

Make Ahead: This sauce is best made just before serving.
